How to run a fair online random picker that everyone trusts

Practical tips to make your online draws transparent, fun and impossible to contest.

Why a great random picker matters

A random draw looks easy: one name, one winner. But the second someone doubts the result, the fun is over. Your picker has to look obviously random and feel transparent.

The golden rules

State the rule before spinning.
Show every participant on screen.
Let the animation breathe — it's the suspense.
Announce the winner out loud.

Pick the right format

The slot machine nails the "show" effect. The wheel makes odds visible. The touch chooser shines around a table, and the tournament builder turns picks into a story.
